Hurdy-gurdy

The Hurdy-gurdy is many instruments combined into one. It has a strings that sound like a fiddle, but there isn’t a bow. Instead, a turning wheel rubs against the strings to make a sound similar to a viola or violin. The keyboard uses wood tabs that press against the strings and change the pitch of the vibrating strings. Multiple sound types can be triggered at once. There are also other side strings that when adjusted make a bagpipe sound.
